Moving Mountains: Magical Choices For Empowering Your Life's Journey About the Author: Dr. Steve Frisch, Psy.D. What Reader/Reviewers have said about this book.
Reviewed by Rene Gavin
Finally, Moving Mountains provides a wonderful template of ways to perceive our
experiences so that we can continue to expand our powers of self-determination and
self-empowerment.
I believe for those of you who are more advanced in examining and re-stating your beliefs,
this is a powerful and important area of Steve's text in that it acknowledges the
difficulties encountered when living this process daily. Here the author articulates
realistic experiences that describe the struggles we all encounter, while providing a
perspective that will assist the reader in moving through these obstacles.
I found his perspectives helpful and they actually provided me the energy I needed to move
forward on a project of my own.
This book is not only practical and universal, but is deeply spiritual in its approach to creating happiness. Moving Mountains is a direct and easy guide to personal empowerment and spiritual evolutions. Through story, exercises, and journaling this book sheds light a step-by-step method for thinking, living, and finding real joy.
Moving Mountains is written for the person who is seeking a deeper understanding of the human process so that they might be better able to examine the choices they make and begin making the kinds of choices that brings them love, happiness, and well-being. Dr. Frisch guides the reader through a process of personal empowerment that enables the reader to feel confident in succeeding at any area of their life.
Moving Mountains has empowered me to make the kind of changes in my life that I only dreamt about before. Since reading this book I have been able to say good-bye to a relationship in which I was abused for over 15 years. I have gone back to school to get the training necessary for me to leave my dead-end job. For the first time in my life, I feel like Im in control of my own destiny. A must read for anyone who dares to think bold but is too paralyzed how to make those dreams come true.
Reviewed by Ronald Fischer Moving Mountains came at the right time for me. The part that helped me the most was Dr. Frischs discussion on Universal Obstacles to empowerment. I was able to see for the first time how I have stopped myself from having the kind of life I am capable of. More important than opening my eyes to how I was stopping myself, through the exercises in the book, I was able to formulate a plan to stop myself from stopping myself. The work is hard, but now I wake up in the morning more determined than ever to claim the happiness that Im entitled to.
